Arthur Imperator

After defeating the Roman fleet, Arthur Britannicus takes the title Imperator and attempts to unite Britain’s rival communities under his rule. Roman oppression has weakened, but Saxon warlords now test the eastern coast while Arthur builds the cavalry and command structure required to defend an island no longer protected by the empire.
In Gaul, the western Augustus Maximian plans to recover Britain and punish the ruler who defied him. Arthur must persuade former enemies to accept common authority, knowing that military victory alone will not create a kingdom. His rise depends on converting rebellion into durable government before Rome can return.
