The Road to Rome

Romulus and Tarquinius survive their journey from the eastern edge of the known world only to be forced into Caesar's legions during the wars in Egypt and Asia Minor. In Rome, Fabiola is caught between Brutus and Mark Antony as political violence deepens. Romulus fights at Zela, while Tarquinius searches for a path through the dangers of Alexandria. Their separate struggles lead back to Rome, where the Ides of March forces the twins to decide whether Caesar is their protector, their enemy or the greatest threat to the Republic.
