Lionheart

In 1179, Henry II rules a vast collection of lands, but rivalry and rebellion continue to divide the Plantagenet family. Ferdia, a young Irish noble taken hostage after the English invasion of Ireland, saves the life of Henry's son Richard and is rewarded with a place in his household. As Richard fights to defend Aquitaine and challenge his father's authority, Ferdia is drawn into the dangerous politics of the Angevin court.
