Kimberley Woodhouse is an American bestselling and award-winning author whose work spans Christian historical fiction, historical romance, contemporary suspense and nonfiction. She is particularly known for combining carefully researched settings with romance, mystery, adventure and themes of faith, forgiveness and personal resilience. Woodhouse has written nearly fifty books, both independently and in collaboration with writers including Tracie Peterson and her daughter Kayla R. Woodhouse, and she also works as a writing teacher and speaker.
Her historical novels include The Mayflower Bride, The Patriot Bride, The Golden Bride and The Express Bride from the multi-author Daughters of the Mayflower series. With Tracie Peterson, she wrote the Heart of Alaska trilogy—In the Shadow of Denali, Out of the Ashes and Under the Midnight Sun—the Treasures of Nome trilogy—Forever Hidden, Endless Mercy and Ever Constant—and the Jewels of Kalispell novels The Heart’s Choice, With Each Tomorrow and An Unexpected Grace. Her other historical fiction includes the Secrets of the Canyon trilogy, beginning with A Deep Divide; the palaeontology-centred Treasures of the Earth trilogy, beginning with The Secrets Beneath; and the individual novels All Things Hidden, Beyond the Silence, Bridge of Gold and A Song in the Dark, the last of which follows a blind concert pianist undertaking dangerous work in Europe shortly before the Second World War.
