Book
The Parthian
First published 2011
During the Third Servile War, Pacorus, a prince of the Parthian Empire, is captured with his men and sent to Italy as a slave. Their fate changes when they are freed by Spartacus, whose revolt against Rome is rapidly becoming a major military threat. In gratitude, Pacorus joins the rebel army and uses his experience as a cavalry commander to strengthen its forces.
As Spartacus defeats successive Roman armies, Pacorus must decide whether the uprising can provide a path back to freedom and his homeland. His growing attachment to the warrior Gallia complicates that choice, while the arrival of Marcus Licinius Crassus places the rebels against a commander with the resources and authority to end the revolt.
