Book
Badger’s Moon
Three young girls have been killed in different communities of Muman on successive full moons. Their mutilated bodies and the repeated timing create fear that a ritual murderer will strike again when the moon returns. Fidelma and Eadulf are sent to a district where suspicion has already settled on outsiders and people associated with older beliefs.
The investigators must compare the victims' lives rather than accept the pattern imposed upon their deaths. As the next full moon approaches, Fidelma uncovers concealed relationships among the families and discovers that the appearance of a single roaming killer may protect several people with more immediate motives.
