Ardennes Sniper

by David Healey Book 4 in the Caje Cole series.

First published 2015

4.5(5,230)

In December 1944, the German army launches a surprise offensive through the Ardennes and drives into thinly held American positions. Caje Cole’s unit is thrown into a winter battle in which roads, fuel dumps and isolated villages become critical as Allied commanders struggle to understand the scale of the attack.

The offensive gives Kurt von Stenger, the Ghost Sniper, another opportunity to confront Cole. Snow and forest restrict visibility while German armour and infantry press west. Their rematch becomes part of the wider struggle to stop the breakthrough before it reaches the Meuse and divides the Allied armies.
