Lee Jackson is a bestselling, award-winning author of Second World War fiction and espionage thrillers. A former infantry officer, he spent thirty-eight months serving in Iraq and Afghanistan, experience that informs his portrayal of military operations, intelligence work and the pressures placed on individuals during conflict. He now lives in Texas with his wife and writes full time.

Jackson is best known for the After Dunkirk series, which follows members of the Littlefield family through the Second World War, from the evacuation of Dunkirk and the Battle of Britain to intelligence operations, codebreaking and campaigns in Europe and the Pacific. He also wrote the Reluctant Assassin series, formerly titled Curse the Moon, featuring Atcho, a Cuban counter-revolutionary drawn into Cold War espionage, nuclear threats and political crises in Russia, Berlin and the United States. His novels combine military action with international intrigue and are grounded in detailed historical research.
