Caje Cole

The Caje Cole series follows an Appalachian hunter serving as an American sniper from the Normandy landings through the final campaigns in Europe and into the Korean War. The Second World War novels place Cole against German marksmen during D-Day, the Falaise fighting, the Ardennes offensive and Operation Nordwind before Red Sniper sends him on a post-war rescue mission inside Stalin’s Soviet Union.

Frozen Sniper, Sniper Ridge and Fallen Sniper continue Cole’s career in Korea, where mountain warfare, extreme cold and Chinese intervention create a different form of sniper combat. The Gift of the GI is an unnumbered Christmas companion set in the Ardennes, while Righteous Sniper returns to the encirclement of Bastogne. The sequence combines battlefield action with the continuing psychological cost of survival.
