Book
Son of Anger
Ulf Bjørnson has grown up on an isolated farm in Vikenfjord without knowing the warrior lineage claimed for his family. When strangers kill his household and steal his father’s sword, Ormstunga, he sets out to recover the weapon and avenge the dead. The pursuit takes him beyond the security of home and into the feuds, raids and shifting loyalties of the Viking world. Ulf’s quest for honour begins to shape him into the dangerous warrior his enemies have awakened.
The stolen sword matters because it represents more than property. It connects Ulf with a family history he has not understood and gives his enemies control over the symbol through which that inheritance might be recognised. His pursuit therefore becomes an education in the alliances and feuds that shaped his father's life, forcing him to decide which parts of that legacy deserve to be reclaimed and which should end with the dead.
