J. C. Duncan

J. C. Duncan is the publishing name of James C. Duncan, a London-born writer with a long-standing interest in medieval history. Alongside writing, he has described himself as an amateur bladesmith, an activity that gives him practical insight into the labour, materials and limitations behind historical weapons. His fiction grew from a fascination with Viking expansion, contested kingship and the way individual ambition can alter the course of a state.
