Attila: The Gathering of the Storm

The second book follows Attila after years of exile as he returns to claim power among the Huns. He gathers a small chosen force and begins the harder task of binding rival tribes, steppe peoples and war bands under his command. The novel presents the making of Attila’s empire before his attention turns fully westward toward the wealth and instability of Rome.
