Reinhard Heydrich was a senior SS and Nazi security official, head of the Reich Security Main Office and a principal organiser of the Holocaust. His assassination in Prague in 1942 led to brutal reprisals, including the destruction of Lidice.
Reinhard Heydrich also held the offices or ranks of member of the Reichstag of Nazi Germany, President of Interpol, and Chef der Sicherheitspolizei und des SD. Reinhard Heydrich was born in Halle (Saale) and died in Prague.
