Louis X of France

Louis X of France, called the Quarreller, ruled France and Navarre from 1314 to 1316. His short reign and death without a surviving adult male heir helped trigger the succession disputes that ended the direct Capetian line.

Louis X of France also held the offices or ranks of count of Champagne, King of Navarre, King of France, and sovereign of Navarre. Louis X of France belonged to the Capetian dynasty and operated within France; Kingdom of Navarre. Louis X of France was born in Paris and died in Vincennes.
