Book
Righteous Sniper
First published 2024
During the encirclement of Bastogne, Caje Cole’s squad receives orders to escort a captured German officer through roads cut by enemy armour and artillery. The prisoner is wanted by the Americans for war crimes, while German troops consider him a traitor whose testimony must not reach headquarters.
Heavy snow, Panzer attacks and an enemy sniper turn the transfer into a moving siege. Cole must keep the officer alive without forgetting the crimes attributed to him, and the squad must decide how far military duty extends when justice depends on preserving a man they despise.
