The Falling Sword
After suffering defeat against the Macedonians, Titus Quinctius Flamininus gathers fresh troops and prepares a renewed Roman offensive. Felix remains in the legions as rival officers, difficult allies and hostile communities threaten the campaign from within as well as beyond the battlefield.
On the Macedonian side, Demetrios returns to the phalanx while King Philip V struggles to preserve his army and his authority over Greece. Felix and Demetrios endure marches, skirmishes and betrayal as the two forces manoeuvre for advantage.
