The Women of Troy

Troy has fallen, but the Greek fleet remains trapped on the shore by unfavourable winds and unrest among the victors. In the ruined city's shadow, Briseis, pregnant with Achilles' child, tries to protect herself and the other captive women while tensions deepen over Priam's unburied body and the spoils of war.

The novel follows Briseis, Hecuba, Amina and other survivors as they confront grief, revenge and the uncertainty of departure. It shifts the story from conquest to occupation, showing how the defeated endure while the Greek coalition begins to fracture.
