In this alternate history, the Dumnonii have defeated Rome’s Second Legion and completed the Celtic victory in Britain. Hywell, Cunomar and Valerius must nevertheless recover the legion’s lost eagle and prevent the empire from assembling another invasion force capable of reversing their success.

Their solution takes the struggle beyond Britain: Nero must be removed and replaced by an emperor acceptable to the victors. Published as part of the Storycuts series, the story brings survivors of the Boudica sequence together with Pantera’s world and asks how Roman history might have changed if the Boudican resistance had prevailed.
