Ben Macintyre is a British author, historian and journalist best known for narrative non-fiction about espionage, wartime deception and covert operations. A writer-at-large for The Times, he combines archival research with the pacing and characterisation of a thriller. His books often focus on spies, double agents and unconventional military figures whose personal ambitions and divided loyalties influenced major historical events.
