New World Rising

New World Rising follows the fictional half-brothers Jack Wynter and Harry Vaughan through the dynastic upheavals that ended Plantagenet rule and opened the early Tudor age. Sons of the Blood begins in 1483 with Edward IV’s death, the disappearance of the Princes in the Tower and Richard III’s seizure of the crown. A secret map inherited from their father draws the brothers into a wider contest in which information about western routes may be as valuable as a kingdom.

Court of Wolves continues after Henry VII’s victory at Bosworth, carrying the rivalry from England to Medici Florence and the Spanish war against Granada. Lorenzo de’ Medici, Isabella of Castile, Ferdinand of Aragon and Christopher Columbus stand at the intersection of court politics, religious war, finance and exploration. The series links the final violence of the Wars of the Roses to the emerging Atlantic world.
