In 1303, the army of France has been smashed at the battle of Courtrai. In the aftermath of this shocking defeat, the enemies of Philip of France seize their opportunity. In Scotland, Edward Longshanks prepares to launch his final effort at conquest. In Aquitaine, the English join forces with local rebels to drive out the French.
