Paris, 1938. Carlo Weisz reports for Reuters while helping to produce Liberazione, a clandestine newspaper written by Italian anti-fascists in exile. The novel follows journalism as a form of resistance and shows how information can threaten authoritarian regimes before armies cross borders.
