When Conrad is selected for a covert German mission, the war brings the former lovers back into dangerous proximity. British intelligence begins to close in, forcing Missie to decide what loyalty requires when affection, duty and national survival conflict. Lowther-Pinkerton combines a cross-border love story with espionage and wartime suspense, moving from Munich under Nazism to the concealed contest of codebreaking and divided allegiance during the Second World War.
