Italy, 43 BC. Mark Antony has been defeated at Mutina, declared an enemy of the state and left with starving remnants of his army beyond the Alps. Cicero dominates the Senate, while Octavian delays action after the deaths of both consuls create an opportunity to demand supreme office.
