The Shot
In 1960, professional marksman Tom Jefferson is approached about the feasibility of assassinating Fidel Castro, drawing him into a covert world where organised crime, government interests and political violence overlap. The assignment mutates into a conspiracy involving John F. Kennedy, with Jefferson pursued by men who cannot allow him to control the plan he helped set in motion. Kerr blends real Cold War figures and events with an alternative assassination plot built on double-crosses and competing agendas.
