Islands of Mist

Britannia, AD 61. Under a new commander, Marcus Corvo and the Legion of the Damned are sent to a province where Roman officials fear a major uprising. With forces committed elsewhere, Nero’s government needs the rebellion contained before it can threaten imperial control of the island.

The Damned arrive as Governor Gaius Suetonius Paulinus campaigns against the druids on Mona and resentment spreads among British communities. The abuses suffered by Boudica and the Iceni turn local anger into open revolt, forcing Corvo’s men to choose between covert prevention and a desperate military response as Roman settlements become targets.
