Book
The White Raven
First published 2009
Six years after their eastern adventures, Orm and the Oathsworn have tried to establish a settled homestead. An attack by Klerkon’s men destroys that peace and leaves two members of the brotherhood captive, forcing the crew back onto the road in pursuit of revenge and rescue.
Their journey crosses the steppe toward the burial place of Attila, where rival treasure hunters and women sworn to guard the grave close around them. The Oathsworn also encounter the gifted young prince Olaf, known as Crowbone, whose ambitions and stories will connect their private feud to the future struggle for Norway.
