The Etruscan

Early fifth century BCE. Turms, an exile searching for his origins, begins a wandering life in the Greek world as the Persian invasion reshapes the eastern Mediterranean.

His journeys lead through Greece and Sicily to Rome and Etruria, involving him in war, piracy, trade, politics and religious mystery. As Turms moves between Greek cities, Carthaginian power and the young Roman Republic, he gradually discovers the meaning of his Etruscan identity and the obligations attached to it.
