Killigrew and the North-West Passage

In 1852 Lieutenant Kit Killigrew joins a Royal Navy search for Sir John Franklin’s missing Arctic expedition. The mission enters poorly charted waters under a captain whose pursuit of fame repeatedly places the ships and crews at risk of entrapment in the ice.

As the Arctic winter closes in, dwindling supplies and disputes over command threaten the expedition before any trace of Franklin is found. Killigrew must decide when obedience becomes fatal while unexplained deaths among the crew intensify the fear and isolation of a voyage beyond reliable rescue.
