After a Viet Cong attack destroys an ARVN convoy near Bình Ba, Australian and South Vietnamese forces launch a cordon-and-search operation around the commune. Hunter Killers focuses on the intelligence problem at the centre of the Vietnam War: armed units could be found and fought, but political support, hidden supply routes and local sympathisers were far harder to isolate.
