Dangerous Lady

In 1527, seventeen-year-old Thomasin Marwood enters the court of Henry VIII when her elder sister’s marriage brings the family into royal society. The Marwoods remain loyal to Catherine of Aragon and the old faith, but the court is increasingly divided by the king’s attachment to Anne Boleyn. Thomasin is fascinated by Anne’s confidence and by Rafe Danvers, a young man connected to the Boleyn household, despite her parents’ plan to marry her to the respectable Sir Giles Waterson.

Thomasin’s private choice becomes dangerous when she is drawn into a scheme involving Queen Catherine.
