Nancy Moser is an American author of Christian and inspirational fiction whose novels often explore faith, personal purpose and the choices through which ordinary people reshape their lives. She has written more than forty novels and novellas across historical fiction, contemporary drama, speculative fiction and time-travel stories. Moser holds a degree in architecture and has also performed in theatrical productions, symphonies and choirs, interests reflected in her attention to buildings, clothing, music and the arts. Her time-travel novel Time Lottery won a Christy Award, while Washington’s Lady was a Christy Award finalist.

Her historical fiction includes the Women of History novels, which recreate the lives of Martha Washington in Washington’s Lady, Jane Austen in Just Jane, Maria Anna “Nannerl” Mozart in Mozart’s Sister and Elizabeth Barrett Browning in How Do I Love Thee? The Gilded Age series comprises Masquerade and An Unlikely Suitor, portraying women negotiating class, work and romance in late nineteenth-century New York and Newport. The Pattern Artist series—The Pattern Artist, The Fashion Designer and The Shop Keepers—follows women working in New York’s fashion industry between 1911 and the aftermath of the First World War. Moser has also written The Journey of Josephine Cain, set during the construction of the transcontinental railroad, along with historical novellas such as The Bridal Quilt, Pin’s Promise and Endless Melody.
