The Lion of Galloway
Service to David II has brought Archibald Douglas advancement, land and the possibility of a settled marriage. The peace is fragile, however, as Scottish magnates resist royal policy and English agents exploit discontent in Galloway and along the border.
Archibald must defend the king without allowing political rivals to portray loyalty as personal ambition.
