Winter 1944. German engineer Rudi Graf launches V-2 rockets from the occupied Netherlands, working beside Wernher von Braun under increasing SS suspicion. The weapon he helped create is technologically advanced but strategically futile, and every launch binds scientific ambition more tightly to a collapsing regime.

In newly liberated Belgium, WAAF officer Kay Caton-Walsh joins a team using mathematics and aerial observation to locate the mobile launch sites. Their parallel stories turn the V-2 campaign into a contest of calculation, secrecy and time as attacker and analyst move towards the same final strike.
