A Stray Drop of Blood

After being orphaned and sold into slavery, Abigail enters the household of a Roman military family living in Jerusalem. Her place in the family becomes precarious when the soldier’s son returns from Rome and demands a relationship she cannot freely choose. As unrest gathers around the preaching and trial of Jesus, Abigail’s search for justice brings her into direct contact with the crucifixion and forces her to reconsider guilt, freedom and faith.
