Seti I

Seti I was a pharaoh of the Nineteenth Dynasty and father of Ramesses II. He restored Egyptian authority in parts of Syria and Palestine, fought the Hittites and sponsored major monuments including his temple at Abydos.

Seti I also held the offices or ranks of Pharaoh of the Nineteenth Dynasty of Egypt and Saqqara king. Seti I belonged to the Nineteenth Dynasty of Egypt and operated within Ancient Egypt. Seti I was born in Avaris and died in Ancient Egypt.
