Henry Montgomery Lawrence
1806–1857
Henry Montgomery Lawrence was a British soldier and administrator influential in Punjab and later at Lucknow. He helped supervise the Lahore state after the First Anglo-Sikh War and died during the siege of Lucknow in the Indian Rebellion of 1857.
