In for the Kill
Holland, October 1944. Barely more than a week after escaping the Arnhem fighting, Sean Harris and the survivors of his team are ordered back behind German lines. Documents recovered during the previous mission point to a secret facility producing synthetic fuel intended to extend the operational range of V-2 rockets, and Harris must join Resistance contacts and specialist British personnel to destroy the plant before its output can be moved.
The facility and raid are fictional, but the story is built around the real V-2 campaign and the unstable military situation in the Netherlands after Market Garden. Gestapo chief Heinrich Müller appears under his historical identity as the senior official behind the security response, while his immediate subordinates and their contest with Harris are fictional. The novel continues the series’ blend of airborne warfare, sabotage and espionage.
