Bernabò Visconti

1323–1385

Bernabò Visconti was a fourteenth-century lord of Milan and a member of the powerful Visconti family. His rule was marked by dynastic ambition, military pressure and harsh government, making him a vivid figure in the politics of late medieval northern Italy.
