Bridgerton Series

The Bridgerton series follows the eight children of Violet and the late Viscount Bridgerton as each negotiates marriage, family expectation and reputation between 1813 and 1827. The novels move from the formal Regency into the later reign of George IV, using London seasons and country estates as a shared social world connected by Lady Whistledown’s commentary.

Each principal novel centres on one sibling, while recurring relatives allow earlier marriages to remain part of the family story. The Bridgertons: Happily Ever After is included as the ninth companion volume because it collects the eight second epilogues and adds Violet’s story; quotation books and multi-author Whistledown anthologies remain outside the numbered sequence.
