Tales of the Empire

Tales of the Empire is a historical-fantasy saga set in an invented imperial world shaped by Roman, Byzantine, steppe and eastern influences. Its novels move across civil war, frontier cities, court intrigue, invasion and the restoration or destruction of dynasties, while recurring families and political consequences connect otherwise distant settings.

The series is not assigned to real historical periods or people. Instead, it uses recognisable structures—legions, imperial succession, nomadic conquest, palace education and provincial revolt—to examine loyalty, identity and the instability of empires whose rulers must constantly negotiate between military power and legitimacy.
