Anne Beauchamp, 16th Countess of Warwick

Anne Beauchamp was a major English heiress and the wife of Richard Neville, the ‘Kingmaker’. Through her daughters Isabel and Anne Neville she was connected to the houses of Clarence and Gloucester, but after her husband’s death in 1471 her estates were divided and she spent years trying to recover her rights.

In Anne O’Brien’s The Queen and the Countess, Anne Beauchamp, Countess of Warwick, is expected to support her husband Richard Neville as his influence grows.
