Alexander Hamilton

Alexander Hamilton was an American revolutionary officer, constitutional advocate and first secretary of the treasury. He served on Washington’s staff, helped write the Federalist Papers and designed financial institutions that strengthened the new federal government.

In Anya Seton’s My Theodosia, beginning in 1800, the novel follows Theodosia Burr as her father Aaron Burr’s political career reaches the vice-presidency and then collapses after his duel with Alexander Hamilton.
