Prospector Adam Stark has found a rich gold vein in the broken country near Rockinstraw Mountain and is working it secretly with his wife Consuelo and his sister Miriam. The isolated camp already faces danger from Apache raiders, but its internal tensions become more serious when Taggart arrives while fleeing a relentless bounty hunter.
