Archibald Clark Kerr
1882–1951
Archibald Clark Kerr, later Lord Inverchapel, was a British diplomat whose career included service as ambassador to China, the Soviet Union and the United States. During the Second World War he managed the difficult Anglo-Soviet alliance and participated in high-level diplomacy surrounding the final defeat of Nazi Germany.
