Arthur John Brock

Arthur John Brock was a Scottish physician, classical scholar and medical writer who worked at Craiglockhart War Hospital during the First World War. Arthur John Brock is generally dated to 1879–1947.

He treated officers suffering from shell shock, including Wilfred Owen, using occupational and social activity in an approach he called ergotherapy, and he also translated works of Galen. Arthur John Brock was born in Kirkliston and died in Dunfermline.
