Johnse Hatfield

Johnson “Johnse” Hatfield was a son of Devil Anse Hatfield whose relationship with Roseanna McCoy became entangled in the Hatfield–McCoy feud. The surviving record places this person within the historical events represented in Ann Rinaldi’s fiction.
