Fred Loring Seely

Fred Loring Seely worked in pharmaceuticals and newspaper publishing before moving to Asheville, where he supervised the construction and design of the Grove Park Inn. His interests combined business, architecture, social reform and regional development. Seely shaped several prominent Asheville institutions and preserved a commercially important strand of the Appalachian craft revival through Biltmore Industries.

Fred Loring Seely also worked as Owner of Biltmore Industries, Builder of the Grove Park Inn, and Businessman. Fred Loring Seely was born in Fort Monmouth, New Jersey, United States and died in Asheville, North Carolina, United States.
