Butch Cassidy was an American outlaw associated with the Wild Bunch and a series of bank and train robberies in the late nineteenth-century West. His flight with Harry Longabaugh, the Sundance Kid, and uncertain death in South America helped turn a regional criminal career into one of the most persistent legends of the Old West.
